A series of rather unfortunate events? Big mission rule changes that are making many people sad, lesson in a catholic seminary???

This week was a little crazy,


everyone is freaking out because our mission president changed a lot of rules, we were able to watch animated disney movies on disney plus on pdays, now we cant watch disney plus, i know a lot of missionaries who are very sad, we used to be able to listen to any music as long as it didnt have a strong beat, and didnt take away the spirit the mission even had a bunch of disney music basically i ginormous music drive that anyone could listen too it had a ton of good music, now we can only listen to church produced music, (rip Lamb of God by Rob Gardner), i guess missionaries are having trouble with facebook, now we have to uninstall facebook during the week and only use it on pday, and we cant use the part of facebook facebook watch, anyways everyones freaking out cause it went from really loosy goosy to quite a big more strict, we also have to wear our white shirts and ties (our Pros clothes) on pdays, thats the only one that really bothers me that much, just little bummed about the music, but im chilling everyone else thinks that they have nothing to do on pdays now..


i didnt tell you guys but two weeks ago, we found trash that the other elders left aaannd it was swaarming with maggots, anyways it was really gross but we cleaned real good, and the house was sparkelling, this week our toilet broke, just a peice of plastic in the top bowl, ive just been reaching in pulling up the chain because since the peice broke we cant use the button until someone comes and fixes it, its not a big deal, toilet works fine jjust gotta pull the plug yourself, well the next day the person who lives in the apartment below us informes us that he has water coming from his ceiling right below that same bathroom, im thinking that that peice breaking could not possibly have anything to do with water coming from the roof in his house cause it really could not make even a little bit of sence, but when our toilet "breaks" and then water is flooding the ceiliing below it it doesnt look good, the people in charge of our apartment building think its our fault, and one calls our mission president saying that we are a discusting mountain of men with magotts swarming out from under our door frequently, and the problem with the toilet and how our house is disgusting from what shes seen inside of our house... (shes never seen the inside of our house) ..(a few maggots probably did crawl their way out the door and we missed it but it was two weeks ago and happened once but we super cleaned our house, so it sure ain't happening frequently).. yeah so everyone here seems to hate us right now, and it's all one big coincidence that we have no control over, we did another super clean on saturday because president saucedo told us to, and today for pday we were in the center, this morning a guy came and fixed the piece on our toilet, and said that it def has nothing to do with the flooding downstairs, so that's cool, however we were in the city center of campinas a little far from our house, just shopping, when everyone starts calling us asking where we are, the mission office secretaries, the two guys who help fix things in our house, and best of all our mission president again... telling us the guys are here to investigate the flooding, and we need to let them in, well they sure didn't tell us we needed to stay inside or that they were coming at 2:00 on a pday, so everyone now is even more upset at us when really the problem happened because the secretaries didn't let us know that they were coming and we needed to be in the apartment. yeah fun stuff, but it's actually not fun and just super frustrating, because we are not doing anything wrong and there is lying, and just a series of many unfortunate events.


2 months ago me and my first comp stopped teaching a person because they stopped responding to us, this person lives in a catholic seminary, but this week elder fish was looking at the map and said do you guys wanna visit "Person" and i recognized the name but didn't remember until we showed up at a catholic seminary and rang the doorbell, we asked if we could visit said person, and then we entered talked to him, and what he's doing at the catholic seminary is preparing for the next ten years to be a priest, yeah we asked if we could share a message, and he said yes, and many other people who are preparing to be catholic priests were there during this lesson as well, and we taught about the book of mormon and the promise that those who read it and pray to know the truth about it will receive and answer, and it was a pretty dang good lesson too, never thought i'd teach about the book of mormon in a catholic seminary to a bunch of hard fast catholics before but that was dope, not sure ill get the chance again.

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
