Week 54 wild

Last Monday was nuts def the most painful day ever, it sufficed me to say by Tuesday night I had a new comp,

Highlight from Tuesday though we had district counsel, and because of circumstances on Monday I never had the chance to prepare for district counsel, so with literally nothing left in me I decided I would literally just fully trust and follow what the spirit would have me do and say for the whole district counsel, I had no plan, and I did just follow the spirit, and it ended up being the best district counsel I've ever done it was really good and very edifying, I really got to help out my district, it was awesome, brought me a lot of joy

Other than that, Tuesday was stressful as crap and very little accomplished, Elder Almeida got called to pack his bags we went to the mission office, I had one more interview with president. And he told me my new comp would be Elder Streets from my original mtc group, and he would be the district leader, so me and elder streets set off to our area, 

Wednesday!!! I walked the crap out of my comp to show him the area, we walked way way to the other side of my area in the blazing and I mean blazing hot sun, it meant a lot of walking so me and elder streets had a lot of time to get to know each other, we have a lot in common, elder streets is super cool. 

We then worked in another neighborhood equally far away, and the sun just never quite stopped being on our right side the whole day, we taught Mateus, but it was pretty chaotic, before the sun had even gone down we were sunburned, particularly more sunburned on the right side of our body, however the sunburns weren't painful and didn't peel, so it's chill....( unless I get skin cancer haha) 

It was funny me and streets messing with my district during check up calls as they were confused why elder streets was there, and why I'm not district leader anymore

Thursday, it was good We did some good work and taught Lucas about the day of the lord and why it's not on saturday like it used to be and why it's on sunday. We also talked about other commandments he will need to follow when he makes a covenant in baptism, it was pretty great, 

Friday, we did some weekly planning. And oh boy each day of the week has been getting hotter and more humid, we have finally left winter and made it to spring, and it's stupid hot outside, if spring is a 104 degrees and stupid humid, I'm scared for summer, which has been predicted to be one of the hottest summers Brazil will have, I'm not quite ready for that, i know elder waters who is serving in Texas is probably laughing about only 104 degree weather but hey its spring time and for the first time in my life decided to, with my own free will, put on sunscreen, 

That lunch the members told us they would bring us a marmita or a small box of food, however they showed up and gave us 5 fricken pots chucked full of food. With 2 small boxes one with salad, and the other potato salad, 2 cakes, and two little things of jello of some fruit I don't know how to spell that I'm super freaking allergic too just BTW, so now our fridge is ridiculously full and there is no way we are gonna be able to eat all this food, 

We found a nice couple I think we are going to start teaching, so that was super cool

We then taught sebastião and his family and it was good too!!, 

Saturday, Fernanda sebastião's daughter came if her own free will to an activity which was a really big progress, 

That same activity was an open house we have been planning for more than a month like no members showed up. And We brought the whole army of a district over to help out, and as an army in the street invited everyone to the activity. It didn't accomplish much, but it was still pretty fun the ward bought 120 ice cream Popsicles but like 30 people came, and elder Garces kept calling me for me to tell him how to make the scotch bars he was screwing up, it was pretty funny, 

Sunday, was really good, lots of people came to church, and there was lots of work, we taught a family about the restauration and they liked it and we are gonna teach them this Wednesday, 

And that brings me to today, I've just been walking in the blazing hot sun all day, leaving the house at 10 am. Drinking powerade because I'm in need of electrolytes in this super sun out here. 

I made some pavê de limao again it was great, but imma go see what imma do for the rest of pday, feel free to send me emails I would really love to hear from yall I'll for sure respond

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
