Week 55

This week sure was a week, 

It's hard to remember what happened because we only had one in person lunch this week, and also almost all our lessons fell through. So most of it's just a blur,


Tuesday streets was sick

Wednesday we worked hard and did a lot of tracting in the pouring rain, no success but we stopped and got some acai, 

Thursday 
With my comp as district leader he gave his first district counsel it went pretty well, the sisters were being weird and asking for ties though, I made half brownies half scotchbars for the district counsel and they ate all of them and really liked them

We then just worked hard doing tracting with no success

Friday was transfers me and streets are going to stay as comps and he as the district leader its cool just more work and tracting this time with a member too It was good We found some new people. 

Saturday was conference , I loved Robert Daine's talk and elder Bernard's talk and elder Stevensons talk, they were awesome 

Sunday was also super cool I loved conference it's super nice especially on the mission to be able to just sit and be edified and not worry about much else, remember to think celestial, regardless of your situation it's not just a nice tip or and optional counsel or something that doesn't really apply to you, it's it's nessesary for everyone to think about all the choices we make from an eternal perspective, does this really help me come closer to Christ or the celestial kingdom? And it really does apply to all and I mean all of our choices, because the way we live here determines our body in the next life, our life after this life, and who we will be with in the next life, if we live a telestial law now we will (extra emphasize on the will) and I Mean will gain a telestial glory, it doesn't matter what your living now, because through the atonement of christ any change is possible, and you can change to live a celestial law, but it does require change and action, I testify that there is no other way, this is the plan of god and the truth, all people have an opportunity to receive the celestial kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ amen

  Mon, Aug 12 What's up guys, this final transfer of mine has been pretty crazy and that's why I haven't had much time to tell you all, and unfortunately some of these stories can be told only once I've finished my mission but if you ask I'll be sure to let yall know, Anyways this last week has been pretty crazy as well I've been going on the grind, I lost 14 pounds this week, and I'm going for a couple more,  We had zone conference and it was incredible makes me wish I could extend my mission but we can only decide that six months ago so oh well, we talked about testimony vs conversion and how we can be converted and also about exact obedience and the difference between transactional and transformational obedience, I more deeply learned that a testimony is knowledge of the truth and conversion is the application of that knowledge into action, whether we really follow what we proclaim and what we know,  Fun fact every choice we make there is a transfer of po...

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
