Week 57, 3 busy days and 3 slow days

This week started off strong, Tuesday, we had an awesome family night with a part member couple, they gave us food and told us to come back on the 28th and eat more awesome food, they are super fun to talk with If we didn't leave we would talk all night light until the sun rises and even then I'm not sure it would end, they loved asking about the us and the many questions they have, 

Wednesday we had zone conference, and it was really good, we learned lots of stuff to help us be better how we can check up better and teach more like the savior, it was fun too, we took another box of books of Mormon home, and our new traveling aps did an exchange with us for the rest of the day it went well we got a lot of work done and it was fun to do another exchange with Elder Reyes too! 

It was along and tough Wednesday full of information and knowledge then some hard working practice, then we did it all again on Thursday when we had another exchange with our zone leaders, Elder Douberly from my mtc district was with me, me and him also got a lot of good work done and I learned double exchanges are exhausting, 

Then the rest of our week was pretty uneventful because at the morning of Friday Elder Streets removed his ninth ingrown toenail on the mission, and he's never had them before the mission, they told him he can't walk or get them wet for the next three days, so basically we stayed inside all day calling people and sending messages, not very fun, 

Saturday we got a ride for me to help with a service project while streets sat on the couch, we basically just cleaned up an accumulators house grabbing the old iron she has, for her to sell, she made 150 reais, then we went to a different house and helped move some furniture,

Sunday we went to church, had a meeting it went well, then we got a ride to lunch, and we ate some fish and rice and beans, we were eating ice cream at the end and I noticed the soda on the table, and I decided to tell them about floats, that in the us we mix soda and ice cream, and they had never heard of such a thing, the 9 year old daughter tried it with tubaína and the strawberry ice cream and when she put the spoon in her mouth her eyes lit up from how surprised she was that it tasted so good, then everyone made floats and loved it 

Last night I found some Christmas lights in the closet, so me and streets put them up but specifically light side dark side star wars themed

  Mon, Aug 12 What's up guys, this final transfer of mine has been pretty crazy and that's why I haven't had much time to tell you all, and unfortunately some of these stories can be told only once I've finished my mission but if you ask I'll be sure to let yall know, Anyways this last week has been pretty crazy as well I've been going on the grind, I lost 14 pounds this week, and I'm going for a couple more,  We had zone conference and it was incredible makes me wish I could extend my mission but we can only decide that six months ago so oh well, we talked about testimony vs conversion and how we can be converted and also about exact obedience and the difference between transactional and transformational obedience, I more deeply learned that a testimony is knowledge of the truth and conversion is the application of that knowledge into action, whether we really follow what we proclaim and what we know,  Fun fact every choice we make there is a transfer of po...

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
