Week 61

What happened this week? Idk 

And I have no Record or way of finding out, 

So here we goo!

Monday, I think we probably,  ah yes we didn't really accomplish that much, but we did talk to the guy who sells the best hamburgers I've ever eaten, if not they are the second best, and they are sooooooo cheap 27 reais, and given that McDonald's is a minimum of 30 here and that's for their cheap food, a big Mac is like 50 reais here, let me tell yall, this truely is the best hamburger I've ever eaten, hats off for this guy, a good burger is hard to find here in Brazil, he is also really cool We talked with him about what we do as missionaries and want to start teaching him too,

Tuesday, hard to say, ah yeah we did a blitz in the sisters area with our district to try and help them out and it was super cool, we found lots of new people in their area, there was one guy who was talking to this other dude and so we just came up and talked to them, and the one dude set us up to teach about the restauration when we started talking about the book of Mormon and asked if we worshiped Joseph Smith, and because the other guy didn't know who Smith is we taught them both the restauration, the guy who initially asked the question wasn't really interested and also kept trying to interrupt with some comments about what he believes in God, and I totally would have let him talk if it wasn't for the spirit in me telling me I had to teach the other guy Wilson, who was indeed very interested, it was probably the best lesson I've taught in a while, Wilson was very engaged and wanted answers to his questions he was even just a little skeptical specifically from, the things other guy said when other guy gave his opinion, but the spirit was awesome and gave us exactly what to say and we had every answer and the spirit ever so perfectly told him what we said and responded was true and indeed make sense, I was even able to explain the apostasy better through what id learned from Paul in the Bible recently and It was through explaining well that the apostasy happened and through explaining well that since there is only one god, he must also only have one church, that he really understood the message, at the end we wanted to give them books of Mormon but didn't have any left, but I knew our boy Wilson needed one more that anyone else in that city and that moment so I gave him mine that has been used for a long time and is marked up super cool

Wednesday
We had interviews with president, it was super cool, he told me he wanted to close a subject from last time me and him talked back from my comp before streets, we talked, and asked me what I learned, I explained, and then he just told me how happy he was and proud of me, and excited for the next transfer and what I'll do, he told me It was set in stone since last night that I'd be a district leader and train a missionary and to prepare, and that there is only a small chance that changes, 

That night we got transfer news that I would be transferred on Friday and be a district leader and not train. So I guess it changed lol, 

Thursday 
District counsel in the morning, it was cool, me and streets gave another blessing to sister zanchi, it was also cool, 

Then we ate lunch with Maria soares and it was super good delicious pasta, with rice and some absolutely delicious meat, she also made some dank dank dank limeade, then we ate pudim, also really good but I'd already eaten so much I couldn't eat more, now I'm starving and haven't eaten anything today, 

Then I packed my bags and said goodbye to who i got to say goodbye too, we went and talked with burger guy and got one last amazing burger and burger guy out of the kindness of his heart gave me a coke for free , then we went to this store that I always go to and bought myself some more rubix cubes. And since we were friends with the owners they gave me a pen for free to remember them, awesome! 

I said my goodbyes to Luis and Natália they are super cool, and happy to see that for the first time a missionary said goodbye to them before leaving 

Elder streets made me a box to put a bunch of my stuff in so that was cool, it's super functional! 

Friday Then I got transferred and basically at transfers and on the bus everyone told me about how my new area is sucky, actually that was said about my whole zone like even the members told us , 🙃 yeah we gonna change that, we are coming in with fire in my district, ain't gonna be no wussy complaining here, if God is all powerful he can immediately make all of us have miracles and get the work going, the only ones limiting us is ourselves, and guess what with a good attitude and a strong desire and effort to really get the work going here we are already seeing the miracles happen, even our ward made all their yearly goals, and are excited to help us out, ever since I saw ou zone waiting for the bus I'd never felt so good about the miracles we are about to see as we forget ourselves in the work and desire to help others come unto christ, there is going to be a lot of success this transfer I know it, I feel it

  Mon, Aug 12 What's up guys, this final transfer of mine has been pretty crazy and that's why I haven't had much time to tell you all, and unfortunately some of these stories can be told only once I've finished my mission but if you ask I'll be sure to let yall know, Anyways this last week has been pretty crazy as well I've been going on the grind, I lost 14 pounds this week, and I'm going for a couple more,  We had zone conference and it was incredible makes me wish I could extend my mission but we can only decide that six months ago so oh well, we talked about testimony vs conversion and how we can be converted and also about exact obedience and the difference between transactional and transformational obedience, I more deeply learned that a testimony is knowledge of the truth and conversion is the application of that knowledge into action, whether we really follow what we proclaim and what we know,  Fun fact every choice we make there is a transfer of po...

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
