Week 74 so it begins

 Mon, Feb 12

Monday we taught some people that night we taught victor and it was a pretty chill lesson but not super cool,


afterwards we had a really good lesson with Renato and gislene that was great, we promised that if they worked with faith everything would work out for them to get baptized,

we also taught Fatima in the street with her son, where the spirit was super strong, and she said she wants to go to church, and that she knows that she really found the true church, however I'm pretty sure she read something on the internet because she blocked us two days later...

that night we had a call with a media reference and she said she wanted to be baptized, but she ended up living several states north out of our area so we sent her to the missionaries who live near her

Tuesday we had our exchange with amarais and i was back in my old area! it was really fun exchange and funny because i knew the area better than elder Andrade did, we had some great lessons too, i saw some old friends as well, the best however was when an old friend of a member in the area named lucineia who i had taught months before found us in the street and we invited her to be baptized she said it sounds like a good think but she doesn't know if she's able to yet, it was a great contact

Wednesday we had our interviews with president Harker where i learned a lot about how i can help my zone, so it was a pretty good interview, later in the afternoon we had the zone leader training in a park where i accidentally left my water bottle and its about an hour away from home, it was a pretty weird day in general that didn't end up being super productive

Thursday
on Thursday we had district counsel and it was a good district counsel about how we can talk about baptism more, the rest of the day we tried a lot of thinks that didn't work, until we got a self referral and we ran over to his house and taught Reinaldo about the atonement and he told us he felt the spirit powerfully during our testimonies

Friday
we taught Reinaldo again in the morning but it wasn't very organized it was a Q and A on of everything he read about our church on the internet, but he felt the spirit again while hearing Moroni 10 3-5 and wants to learn more still,

right before it started raining we knocked a door looking for Monica but Monica lied to us and said it was a different door but we knocked the door anyways, and we found Jose who told us about how two missionaries (he emphasized from our church) baptized him in his house with some oil diluted in a liter of water onto his head, i honestly still don't know what that means

Saturday we had another lesson with Reinaldo, and he learned a little more about the book of Mormons but he still had tons of questions making it a Q and A again

that afternoon we went finding with a whiteboard that said ˆread a scripture get a candy, and we gave out candy to those who read a scripture, it wasn't super successful but it was fun, one homeless dude was like ˆ"i already know your church and joseph smith, there is one thing i like though its that you guys can have multiple wives!!" he was pretty bummed out when i told him he couldn't...

we did find two younger dudes our age who are looking to come closer to god thought so that's cool

that morning we sent a text to the ward group asking if anyone wanted some service, so we ended up ripping weeds out of a drive way, but they gave us BBQs after so it barely felt like service

Sunday that member we did service for brought a friend to church and tonight we are gonna teach her together,

during the afternoon we fixed a bunch of poorly placed dots on our map, and visited several members who are inactive who have not been visited in years, and found many people and got a lot of references so that was nice

that night we taught a different Renato who is a pro at playing guitar so it was pretty cool, i impressed him by playing and singing amazing grace on the guitar

we taught him that through the atonement he really can overcome his many problems that he has

  Mon, Aug 12 What's up guys, this final transfer of mine has been pretty crazy and that's why I haven't had much time to tell you all, and unfortunately some of these stories can be told only once I've finished my mission but if you ask I'll be sure to let yall know, Anyways this last week has been pretty crazy as well I've been going on the grind, I lost 14 pounds this week, and I'm going for a couple more,  We had zone conference and it was incredible makes me wish I could extend my mission but we can only decide that six months ago so oh well, we talked about testimony vs conversion and how we can be converted and also about exact obedience and the difference between transactional and transformational obedience, I more deeply learned that a testimony is knowledge of the truth and conversion is the application of that knowledge into action, whether we really follow what we proclaim and what we know,  Fun fact every choice we make there is a transfer of po...

Week 52

  I've reached week 52 witch means I've been counting correctly at least,  This week was cool I think, I don't remember it all so imma just talk about the cool stuff that is mostly spiritual We had our interviews with president Harker which was amazing, I've def never met such a spiritual giant like him, he has the spirit with him, he knows what to say in all moments, well he told me about Lucas 14 what man builds a tower without first counting the costs to see if he has sufficient resources to finish it, (Bremner memory translation) then asks me if I remembered what he talked about from his first talk he gave about building mansions in heaven, and it sufficed me to say that I told him I dreamed about this interview a week before and that I had dreamed about being in an interview with him, and he asked me the same questions he asked me in real life,  He asked me an interesting question, many tell themselves I didn't sign up for this, well what did you sign up for, w...
