Week 75 and 76

Mon, Feb 26

Monday night February 12th we had a family night that was fun and took way to long... I ate like 8 hot dogs , we had a small lesson at the end where we taught Magali, a members friend a tiny bit for the first time but it was good to get to know them,

Tuesday

We had an exchange and I was with the Mexican, elder Muniz he's super funny me and him are buds, he played the guitar and I sang in a park to try and teach people, so we sang three songs, families can be together forever, I'm trying to be like Jesus, and when I am baptized, so like three songs perfect for finding people,

We also had a family night again where me and Muniz joked a ton about Mexico and the United states and it was super funny,

Wednesday

We had zone counsel that me and my comp and the sister training leaders planned, it went pretty well it was focused on inviting the people who can be baptized in February to be baptized, it was good but writing this 2 weeks in the future it didn't make a huge difference

We also taught Reinaldo that day about the restauration. And it was super cool because Reinaldo has tons of questions and likes getting answers from god,

Then President Harker texted us saying we would have a meeting in 45 minutes so we sprinted the 5k to the church in those minutes to have our meeting with the stake president and president Harker it was a cool meeting were we counseled about the stake and zone and how to help those we are teaching ,

President forced us to get a ride with him and he gave us some tea about the mission, it was pretty hot tea...

Thursday we had our district counsel and it was great! I went to the aps area for another exchange and it was pretty alright, I met some cool members who had a lot of updates of long gone missionaries I knew, and we got to teach a lesson at the temple and mark a baptism date for a couple overall a great day

Friday

We had our classic QnA with Reinaldo and it was good

We also did weekly planning where e I ate a liter of sergel ice cream

And we taught André who is a part member family, whose been taught for years, we sort of invited him to be baptized and when we explained that it's not erasing his last who knows how many years of Christianity but rather just adding priesthood authority he was actually really happy with the idea

And we ate pizza so it was a win

Saturday

We had another super spiritual and powerful lesson with Reinaldo where we taught him about baptism and invited him to be baptized with alma 7, and he wants to but didn't want a date yet,

We had a cool miracle where I got caught in a thousand buckets of rain and some people let us in their house, plot twist id already met them in an exchange 3 months prior, we taught them and another woman named elisangela probably, she's from ouro verde, we taught her and at the end she told us before she left her house that day she had prayed because her husband has cancer and she prayed that god would send her two messengers to give her a message about God, but it had to be two messengers who didn't know she asked or needed it, and well we showed up, if im not wrong she's now being taught in ouro verde

We taught victor about keeping the sabbath day holy using 14 cups of water he had to fill with soda, but plot twist he didn't have enough soda he needs the sacrament on the seventh cup to refill to fill the rest of the week,

Sunday we went to the first part of the stake high counsel meeting to talk about the people preparing for baptism in the zone, and then we had sacrament meeting with Reinaldo who absolutely loved church, he has anxiety problems with tons of people and was worried about going but we promised the blessing that he would be at peace if he went and he went and he was super happy

After church we had a lot of mission meetings and then we taught Reinaldo or rather did a QnA about church and things he didn't understand

Monday February 19th

we taught cris who we talked to in the super market, we did a magic trick to teach her, we drew sins on a stick figure and then erased the sins using the baptism of fire it was pretty cool

Tuesday

We started the day doing magic tricks teaching people about the importance of baptism In a park making cards fly and erasing sins with the baptism of fire and it totally worked we ended up doing it the whole day

We then had a cool phone call with Magali and taught her that god really will answer her prayers

We also helped a woman practice her inglês before her trip to Chicago

And we gave some piano lessons

Wednesday we had zone conference it was pretty good, after about 9 months of waiting I finally got a physical copy of the new preach my gospel so that's awesome

After zone conference we had some cool lessons and I learned about how to be a better leader

Thursday we had an exchange with barão Geraldo and it was okay, I ate some Lebanese food that was good

Friday we taught Reinaldo again and it was great again we talked about the book of Mormon,

I ate a liter of sergel during weekly planning and then we tried some visits that didn't really work and spent half an hour sending a report to the aps

We taught luiz who said he would go to church but then didn't

Saturday we had another great lesson with Reinaldo trying to help him out where he asked more questions about porter Rockwell and why the city's in the book of Mormon haven't been found,

We had a cool family night with Magali again, where we failed 3 different magic tricks before we went back to the flying card one, Magali rejected the baptismal invite but still wants to learn more so that's great

On Sunday we taught Reinaldo about the restauration again and we had a family night with the zaninis which was fun, I thought if I ate the food it would stop but more kept coming so we eventually just said we had to leave, but it was great

Magali told us she god a response to her prayer about whether this is the church of Jesus Christ and God said she needs to keep learning more which is awesome
