Week 79

 Mon, Mar 18

Monday we taught Reinaldo and it was a pretty good lesson he was doing really well with his goals (3 days in a row!) And we just taught him about the atonement, and how that will help him continue going, ozair helped out and said he can help him with whatever he needs 

Then we had a fun family night were we ate a ton of food and shared a message with Claudia André cris, and Márcia about service and asked if they had any opportunities for us

That night I also found out that a guy named Camilo i found and taught in Amparo a year ago got baptized just recently, so that's super awesome

Tuesday 

We shared another message with Reinaldo and invited him to pray sincerely and repent and feel the great joy that comes from doing so 

Zone drama too! 

That night we had a cool lesson though with André, Plus their dog who hates everyone started to like me so that's cool too! 

We also taught Reinaldo again and invited him to pray and ask god if this is his restored church,

Wednesday 

We did an exchange with elder Borges and we taught Reinaldo, he told us that he prayed about the church, and that god responded, he said that through his feelings god said he needs to keep meeting with us, keep going to church, and made it really clear, that he needs to get baptized in the church too, which was really cool, 

Then came the opposition, we ended the exchange the same night and he called us to try and convince us using the scriptures that it's cool if he doesn't do gods will that night, even though he knows he shouldn't, 

Thursday 

We had district counsel that was fun because there was lots of food and tereré and soda and juice, we learned about Christlike attributes, and we got some constructive feedback on how we can better help the zone

After we had a really interesting lesson with Reinaldo that was a lot of back and forth and we didn't get anywhere 

Then we taught him that night and god helped us out by miracle, because he was completely incapable of remembering that we met that morning or talked about anything, and this time it wasn't back and forth he just felt the spirit and committed to our invite, it was a really spiritual lesson, 

Then our family night fell through in chaos but we taught Carla and her son, just not her husband Gabriel, 

Friday we had a very priesthood and spirit filled lesson in the morning with Reinaldo, 

Then right before weekly planning we taught orest a bit about the restauration

After we taught Fernando who is an inactive member and his non member mom Fátima, they are really cool and his mom is awesome, We taught them a bit about the atonement and how it blesses out lives 

Afterwards we did about an hour of weekly planning, mostly for Reinaldo and how we will help him get baptized on the 23rd of March, which requires him to do two goals at the same time, 

Then he called us and told us he can only do one, so after about 2 hours of back and forth and praying we determined to change his date to the 30th of March and we then redid our whole weekly planning 

Saturday 

We taught Reinaldo again, and he because his mom opened his mind abit decided to commit to doing the 2 goals at the same time, 

Then we went and taught Orest, and he told us about how he thinks the star that appeared for Jesus birth, was actually a UFO

Because that's the only way it makes since apparently

Then we taught Reinaldo about the doctrine of baptism and about the covenants he will make and he was really excited 

We ended the night teaching renato and his member wife gislene about the blessings of reading the scriptures and praying daily 

Sunday 

We found out a lot of members who've moved, and had a really awesome lunch with sergel ice cream so it was a great day 😋
